  • Account Information and Setup
    How do I change my Password in the app?
    While logged in, tap the profile icon in the top left-hand corner of the app. Select your name. Then select Password and enter a new Password.

    How do I edit my User Profile?
    While logged into the app, tap the circle icon in the top left-hand corner. Select your name and follow the options to update your Work Profile and Password.

    What should I do if I forget my Password?
    Open the app, select “Forgot your Password,” and follow the prompts.

    Can I set up Face ID/Touch ID to log in?
    Yes. While logged in, tap the circle icon in the top left-hand corner, select Content Preferences, and then toggle Face ID/Touch ID.

    Where can I adjust my app content preferences?
    In the app, tap the circle icon in the top left-hand corner, then select Content Preferences. Select or edit your preferences to automatically archive, play episodes automatically, or download content. While you’re here, you can also choose your preferred learning media type.

    How can I personalize my content settings?
    To personalize your app content settings, log in, tap the circle icon in the top left-hand corner, select Content Preferences, select your preferred media type, and tap Save.

    What accreditation is ClinicalPulse through?
    ClinicalPulse is accredited by the following:

  • Using the ClinicalPulse App
    Is there a Free Trial feature?
    Yes! Sign up at clinicalpulse.org/FreeTrial to start a seven-day all-access free trial of the full learning experience. Once you purchase the product, you can redeem any contact hours accrued during your trial.

    How do I find the app?
    You can download the ClinicalPulse app through the Apple App Store or on Google Play. Once you’ve downloaded the app to your phone or tablet, simply log in.

    Where do I access my content?
    Access all your content in the library by tapping the options at the top of the app. You can choose from All, Last Played, or tap Downloaded or Archive to download and save episodes.

    Can I listen or watch offline and in airplane mode?
    Yes, you can take your content with you! While you are still connected to the internet or network connection, press the download icon to load an episode to your device. Once fully downloaded, you can listen to episodes offline.

    Will my time spent listening and watching episodes in the app be tracked when I am in airplane mode or offline?
    Yes, your progress is tracked even when your device is offline or in airplane mode. When you get back online or in-network, you’ll see your time reflected in the upper right-hand corner of the Tracker.

    What happens to downloaded episodes?
    Downloaded episodes are saved in your phone’s storage. You can remove them by tapping the three dots to the right of the episode details and then tapping “Remove Download.” After removing the file, the episode is no longer in your phone’s storage but stays in your library so you can download it again whenever you like.

    Where do I view the contact hours and Rx hours available with each episode?
    While in the library, you can view each episode’s media type, length, completion status, and available Contact and Rx hours.

    How do I earn contact hours and Rx hours?
    You accrue contact hours based on the time spent listening and watching episodes in the app. Once you accrue at least 0.25 contact hours, you’ll see the “Redeem Contact Hours” button in the Tracker. Complete a brief evaluation to view your certificate with redeemed contact hours. Be sure to redeem your contact hours before your subscription year ends.

    Can I switch between media types?
    When playing video episodes, you can simply toggle between media types by tapping Audio or Video at the top of your screen.

    Do episodes have a summary?
    For each episode, we include the speaker’s credentials, a full written presentation summary, and links to related readings and source materials so you can continue to explore the topic at your convenience.

    Can I play episodes via Bluetooth?
    Yes, audio or video will play via Bluetooth on your connected device.

    Can I customize the Tracker?
    Yes, you can customize the Tracker through your profile to show exactly how many contact hours you need for your certifications. Just enter ‘ANCC’ or ‘AANP,’ and the number of hours required for the accrediting board will auto-populate. View your progress, including both contact hours earned in the app and outside of it.

    Can I access the Tracker after my subscription expires?
    Yes, you will have full access to your tracker to continue tracking contact hours in one location, regardless of where you accrue your CE. Once your subscription expires, you can no longer access the episodes until you renew your subscription.

    Do you offer refunds?
    ClinicalPulse offers a 7-day money back guarantee with all purchases. Customers who have not redeemed any contact hours may cancel within 7 days of purchase and receive a full refund of monies paid. Please contact [email protected] to cancel ClinicalPulse.

    Can I purchase my subscription with Apple Pay or Google Pay?
    Yes, you can select either Apple Pay or Google Pay at checkout.

    How do I find my subscription expiration date?
    Look at your order receipt to see the expiration date. Receipts are in your Profile, under Account settings.

    Where is my order receipt?
    Tap the Profile icon in the top left of your app screen to open your Account settings, then select “Receipts” to view or download your receipt as a PDF file. You will also receive an email from ClinicalPulse titled, “Your ClinicalPulse™ Order Receipt” for easy reference and filing.
